Faraday Business Centre repurposes the former site of the Midlands Electricity Board and our renovations have retained the charm of its original features.

Local heritage and business futures

Faraday house was acquired by two established business entrepreneurs who have applied a great deal of thought into the business environment that they wanted to create and into understanding the needs of any new or expanding business. The renovation of Faraday Business Centre has been completed to ensure that modern, innovative businesses have a place where they can thrive and grow, but it would be wrong to have on office with real heritage and not maximize the character that it brings.

"We are proud of this building and want you to enjoy it as much as we do."

CEO of Faraday Business Centre

Throughout the venture, their goal was to retain the retro feel of the building, contradicting a world where we seem to neglect true history in exchange for modernistic design. They made it their mission to enhance and restore the building's retro roots and make it somewhere to really talk about. Throughout the building you will see original features from its days as the headquarters of the M.E.B. - the cool retro staircases and signage nestled amongst the bright office space.

From the iconic 1960s lighting systems to the retro breakout furniture and vintage art, Faraday Business Centre is somewhere to challenge your average work space. The vintage handrail covering was sourced fitted by a British company that is now one of only three in the whole world which can complete such work; it doesn’t get much more unique than that. Skirting boards have also been installed in the main reception in a custom design to match the concrete window mullion style, so loved by the owners. The attention to detail is really something to be inspired by.
